  The Airlie Bred Chelsea Rose provided trainer Con Collins with a Group 1 winner twenty years on from saddling Princess Pati to win the Irish Oaks when she landed the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday 5th September. Prominent throughout, Chelsea Rose was sent to the front with two and a half furlongs to race and stayed on strongly to repel all challengers.  
     
  Bachelor Duke broke his maiden tag in spectacular style when winning the 2004 Group 1 Irish 2000 Guineas at the Curragh on Saturday 22nd May. Hitting the front inside the final 100 yards he stayed on strongly to win from Group 1 St. James Palace Stakes and Group 1 Irish Champion Stakes winner Azamour and Group 1 Irish Derby winner Grey Swallow.  
     
  Abunawwas battled on gamely to get up on the line in the Listed Woodlands Stakes at Naas on Wednesday 5th May and stayed on well to beat Napper Tandy in the Listed Glencairn Stakes at Leopardstown on Wednesday 2nd June.
