ABOUT
AIRLIE |
Airlie Stud, owned by the Rogers Family, is one of Europe's premier
Stud Farms. Founded after the war by the late Captain A.D.D. Rogers
and previously located in Lucan, the headquarters are now based at
Grangewilliam, outside Maynooth, Co. Kildare in the Republic of Ireland.
The Airlie group consists of three stud farms which have completely
separate staff and are run independently of each other. Our experienced
staff, which include a full time veterinary surgeon, provide the highest
standard of care for all horses from day one with the help of a fully
equipped laboratory.
Airlie's main aim is to breed top class racehorses, classic winners
in recent years have included Bachelor Duke (Irish Two Thousand Guineas),
Margarula (Irish Oaks), Petrushka (Irish Oaks, Yorkshire Oaks and
Prix De l'Opera) and Group One winner, Chelsea Rose (Moyglare
Stud Stakes). In addition Airlie also offers breeders boarding facilities
for mares and foals at Grangewilliam and Simmonstown studs with sales
preparations for yearlings at the nearby Kilmacredock stud. |
